Getting Mod Version Mismatch error on attempt to join server?
Here is how you can fix it:
1. Go to our discord (https://discord.skynetgamers.com/) and check #server-status in ARK section. If you see mod update notification in there, it means server is already sheduled a restart for an update and all you have to do is wait till it's done. You should be able to join with no issues after. Make sure you got @ark role in #Roles if you can't see #server-status channel.
2. If you don't see anything about mod updates in #server-status channel or still getting same error it means mods on your client was not updated properly. You will ahve to force update those.
- Go to your steam and navigate to ARK workshop page.
- From there you navigate to "your files - subscribed items" which will bring you to the list of all mods you have installed.
- Now you gota sort those by the update date to see exctly which mod or mods was updated recently.
- Most recently updated mods will apear on top of the list, now you just go on the main page for updated mod/mods and unsubscribe from it, give it a minute to remove your mod than subscribe back, this will force your steam to download latest version of mod. Make sure it downloads all mods before starting ARK (some mods are prety larhe so it might take some time).
Now when you are done with that. Launch your ARK and you should be able to join our servers once again.
